Happy Holidays!

The MRA office will be closed during the holiday season, reopening Monday, January 3rd. Messages will be checked periodically. Our Ski/Snowboard program and Pee Wee Play will begin the week we return and Men's Basketball registration will be due on the 10th.

Pre-school Programs Coming Soon

Three programs will begin in early 2011 for pre-school aged children.
The MRA will be offering Pee Wee Play on Saturdays beginning January 8th and running for 4 weeks. The class will offer kids the opportunity to explore movement through manipulative play, balance and coordination activities and sports readiness skills.
Musikids will begin on Monday, January 17th and run for 6 weeks. This course introduces children to instrumental and lyrical music. Pre-schoolers experience playing several different instruments and moving and singing to their favorite songs.
February 5th begins our first session of Tot Swim meeting 4 weeks on Saturday mornings.

Class size is limited in all of these programs so we encourage early registration.

Men's Basketball League

Teams are now forming. Gather your buddies and sign up soon for league play to begin Sunday's in mid January. Players must be 21 years of age or older. Teams should consist of a range of age groups. Contact the MRA office for more information - 723-9274.

Jingle Bell Jog

Join in the festivities of Sleighbell Weekend and sign up for the Jingle Bell Jog. Registration forms are available at the MRA, Snyder's Shoes, and Manistee High School. The run is held on Saturday, December 4th and begins at Manistee Middle School at 10:00 AM. Don your Santa cap and start your day out with a brisk morning jog!
